How it works

We identify your short, intermediate, and long-term goals, dreams, concerns, & stresses.

This process is a mutual interview to ensure financial coaching is right for you and that we are the right fit to coach you on your financial journey.

Step 1 Consultation

We discuss your income and expenses then work on establishing a budget.

Lay out the game plan for the 7 Baby Steps made famous by Dave Ramsey.

After our meeting, you will receive various templates and guides that will help you implement the action steps we discussed.

Step 2 Initial Coaching Call

Once we establish a game plan to achieve your short-term and long-term goals, we want to make sure you are staying on track.

In these scheduled follow-up calls, we will discuss some wins you’ve accomplished since our last meeting. You’re certainly doing something right & we want to encourage that behavior. If you deviated from our goal, no worries. We can address what may have slipped and get you back on track!

Step 3 Check-Ins

As you work towards a healthy relationship with money and create a solid foundation to build wealth, it's important to avoid overspending on insurance or being underinsured. Overspending on insurance can slow down your debt repayment progress while being underinsured can be disastrous if unexpected events occur and set you back. At RISQ, we assist you in understanding the right coverage and getting exactly what you need.

Step 3b Review

Succeeding with money is mostly about behavior (80%) and less about technical knowledge (20%). As you save for emergencies and pay off debts, pursue short-term goals for motivation. We want you to enjoy the process, not feel restricted. If you resent it, you might not continue after our coaching program, which we want to avoid. Our goal is to help you achieve sustainable results and spread the word about us to your friends.

Win-Win!

Step 4 Accountability

When you’re ready to develop a healthy relationship with money and take back control of your finances
